Aim to be Green
At RNM Electrical we try and do our bit to be more environmentally friendly. We keep a keen eye on the new technologies such as LED's and Compact Fluorescent Lamps and will advise and recommend these if suitable for use. These new technologies can also save you money on your electricity bills. Existing light fittings, heaters and heating systems can be made more efficient in their energy use as well. This might be fitting a programmable timer to a heating system, or installing replacement low energy lamps in existing fittings.
It can be difficult to judge which electrical appliances in your house uses the most power, and which use very little. If you want to know more then we will happily give you a basic guide on how you can check if you are using more power than you need to. In most cases its simply switch off when not in use!
During any installation work, we will generate waste. Electrical work generates a wide variety; card board boxes, paper, old wire, electrical fittings and rubble are the most common. We aim to recycle as much of this as we possibly can, separating the components and taking them away for recycling. In Macclesfield and most of Cheshire there are good paper and card board collection service, so for small volumes we will often ask if we can add the paper and card board to your existing collection.
